Critical Care is looking to recruit hardworking, enthusiastic and motivated individuals to work as part of our team in Bronglais General Hospital.
The Nursing Support Worker role within Critical Care is to assist the qualified nurses in delivering the fundamentals of care to their patient. There is an opportunity to learn new skills and gain further experience in caring for acutely unwell patients while developing professionally within a positive and challenging environment.
This role will require you to undertake delegated clinical observations and to communicate effectively with all members of the multidisciplinary team.
You will be helping to ensure that critical care runs smoothly by undertaking duties outlined by the Nurse in Charge on a day-to-day basis. This will involve supporting the registered nurse with direct patient care, stocking the unit with equipment, and assisting with admissions and discharges.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
