We are seeking a dedicated Cleaning Operative to join our professional cleaning team on a zero hour contract to assist with covering holidays and absences. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces
- Ensure all areas are cleaned to the highest standards, including floors, windows, restrooms, and communal areas.
- Maintain cleanliness of cleaning tools and equipment, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to ensure a safe working environment.
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, toilet rolls, and hand soaps as needed.
- Adhere to scheduled cleaning routines and complete tasks within designated timeframes.
- Report any damages or hazards identified during cleaning to the supervisor immediately.
Skills
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following instructions accurately.
- Good organisational skills to prioritise tasks effectively throughout the shift.
- Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude towards work responsibilities.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to cleaning operations is advantageous.
Pay: £13.45 per hour
