We're looking for a Waste Operative to join our Operations team. This is a varied and active role where you'll support waste management activities across site, ensuring waste is collected, sorted, processed, and stored safely while delivering excellent service to our customer.
No two days are the same, and you'll play a key part in keeping site operations running efficiently while helping us achieve our environmental and sustainability goals.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Waste Operative, you'll be responsible for supporting the day-to-day management of waste operations on site. Your duties will include:
? Exchanging waste and recycling bins across site.
? Transporting, sorting, and processing waste within the waste compound.
? Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised working environment.
? Completing daily vehicle and equipment inspections.
? Monitoring waste levels and arranging container exchanges when required.
? Ensuring waste streams are segregated and stored correctly.
? Building strong working relationships with customers and site teams.
? Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation.
? Following all health, safety, and environmental procedures and reporting incidents or near misses.

Preferred Experience & Qualifications
? FLT Licence (preferred)
? Towing experience (preferred)
? Waste management experience (preferred)
? Manual handling experience (training can be provided)
? Basic IT skills
Hours of Work
Monday to Friday, 14:00pm - 22:30pm
