We are seeking a motivated and dependable Removal Man / Driver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods, assisting with the loading and unloading of items, and ensuring that all removals are carried out efficiently and professionally. Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles, including <PERSON> driver licenses, to transport goods between locations
- Assist with the loading and unloading of furniture, appliances, and other household or office items
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety compliance
- Communicate clearly with clients, team members, and supervisors regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered
- Manage heavy lifting tasks safely, using proper techniques to prevent injury
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and mileage for reporting purposes
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure timely and secure transportation
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or removal man in a commercial setting
- Valid <PERSON> driver license with clean driving record
- Strong driving skills with knowledge of local roads and traffic regulations
- Warehouse experience preferred for handling goods efficiently
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively during loading/unloading processes
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members
- Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a proactive attitude toward safety
