We are looking for a Packer to join our friendly production team and help us continue making a difference.
The Job
You will ensure that products are packed on the manufacturing line in accordance with requirements, ensuring quality objectives are met and high standards maintained.
Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Operate packing machinery and hand packing of products, ensuring all products
- are of correct standard and packed off in a safe and timely manner.
- Follow work instructions, operating procedures and allergen controls.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, quality, hygiene and housekeeping.
- Complete production paperwork accurately and on time.
- Carry out routine equipment checks and report any issues promptly.
- Perform regular cleaning tasks on packing machines (CIL’s). Carry out cleaning duties related to equipment, plant, and building fabric as required.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production targets.
- Support continuous improvement activities within the department.
- Comply with all Health & Safety and GMP requirements at all times.

Packers work on our shift rotation working a 38 hour week which is as follows:
- Week 1 - 06:45 - 14:45 Monday - Thursday and 06:45 - 12:45 Friday.
- Week 2 - 14:45 - 22:45 Monday - Thursday and 12:45 - 18:45 Friday.
