Job Summary
We're currently recruiting for a reliable and motivated 7.5T Driver to join a well-established distributor of flooring products, supplying trade customers across the South. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for regular, ongoing work with a reputable company.
The Role
- Driving a 7.5T vehicle to deliver flooring products to trade customers.
- Completing multi-drop deliveries across the local region.
- Loading and unloading your vehicle safely.
- Some handballing and physical lifting is required, so you must be comfortable with manual handling.
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and ensuring deliveries are completed accurately and on time.
- Providing a professional and friendly service to customers.
Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence with 7.5T (C1) entitlement.
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Previous multi-drop delivery experience is preferred.
- Good knowledge of road safety and driving regulations.
- Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.
- Physically fit due to the manual nature of the role.
Experience
- Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with 7.5-ton or larger vehicles
- Strong background in commercial driving with a clean driving record
- Hands-on experience with flatbed transportation and cargo securing techniques
- Familiarity with delivery procedures, route planning, and time management skills
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial vehicle operation and cargo handling
- Delivery driver experience demonstrating reliability, punctuality, and professionalism
