As an Event Safety Steward, you will be the frontline guardian, managing crowd control, monitoring safety protocols, and providing exceptional guest services to enhance the overall event experience. Duties
- Monitor event areas continuously to identify potential safety hazards or security concerns
- Manage guest flow and assist with crowd control to prevent congestion or unsafe situations
- Enforce event safety policies and procedures, including access control and emergency protocols
- Provide excellent guest services by assisting attendees with directions, information, and support
- Collaborate with event management and emergency responders during incidents or evacuations
- Conduct regular safety inspections of the venue, including exits, pathways, and equipment
- Document incidents, safety concerns, or irregularities accurately in reports for review and follow-up
Skills
- Strong management skills with the ability to coordinate effectively in fast-paced environments
- Experience in hospitality or guest services to ensure positive interactions with attendees
- Excellent communication skills to clearly convey safety information and assist guests confidently
- Vigilant observation skills to identify potential risks promptly and respond appropriately
