What You’ll Be Doing
As a Relief Driver, you'll play a vital role in supporting our operation by providing cover across both our 3.5-tonne and HGV vacuum tanker fleet. This varied role is ideal for someone who enjoys flexibility and is happy to adapt to different routes, vehicles, and operational requirements.
You'll be trusted to:
Provide driving cover across both 3.5T and HGV vacuum tankers as required.
Carry out daily vehicle and equipment safety checks.
Operate modern, well-maintained vehicles with care and professionalism.
Deliver services independently while maintaining the highest operational standards.
Represent Universal Tanker Solutions professionally at customer sites with a customer-first mindset.
Use initiative to complete tasks safely, efficiently, and with pride.
Support different areas of the business to ensure seamless service delivery during periods of holiday, absence, or increased workload.
What You’ll Bring
A full UK driving licence with Category C entitlement.
Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
Confidence and willingness to drive both 3.5T and HGV vacuum tankers.
No more than 6 penalty points (insurance requirement).
Willingness to complete a DBS check.
A proactive attitude, reliability, and strong communication skills.
Experience is welcome—but not essential. We'll provide full training on our specialist equipment and operating procedures.
