Own Patrianna's data privacy strategy end-to-end—keeping us ahead of regulation, building player trust, and turning data protection into a genuine competitive advantage.
Oversee data processing records, retention policies, and embed data protection controls directly into systems and processes in collaboration with IT and wider teams.
Advise on data protection risk assessments, monitor DPIA performance, and ensure compliance with relevant standards—including the Data (Use and Access Act) 2025 and all applicable legislation.
Support the Data Controller in investigating potential personal data breaches and lead the incident response process.
Oversee third-party vendor and partner compliance procedures, and manage a system for handling Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) promptly and effectively.
Drive data protection training and awareness programmes, embedding a genuine culture of compliance across the organisation.
Provide expert guidance on the privacy implications of new technologies and AI initiatives, ensuring compliance by design from the ground up.
Proven background in a data protection role, ideally within a tech or gaming environment—you've navigated complexity before and know how to move with confidence.
Deep, working knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, and other key data protection regulations, with a genuine appetite to stay current as the landscape evolves.
Strong understanding of data processing in customer-facing environments, with the ability to translate complex privacy concepts into plain language for any audience.
An analytical, proactive mindset—you spot issues early, bring solutions to the table, and can operate autonomously without waiting to be told what to do.
A degree in Law, Data Protection, Information Security, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience that demonstrates the same depth.
CIPP/E, CIPM, or equivalent privacy certifications are a bonus, as is a background in contract law or regulatory compliance.
