Nantwich Town Council is seeking a Duty Manager Maintenance to oversee the upkeep of our buildings, fixtures, and fittings. You will play a key role in ensuring our frontline services and facilities remain in top condition, serving the needs of the local community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular site inspections and identify necessary repairs.
- Oversee and manage external contractors, ensuring work meets quality and safety standards.
- Coordinate repairs and maintenance with the Duty Manager Electrician and Town Ranger.
- Ensure council vehicles and equipment are serviced and maintained.
- Follow health and safety regulations, conducting risk assessments as needed.
- Programme and manage Maintenance Operatives, delivering toolbox safety talks.
- Carry out Duty Manager responsibilities, including overseeing the Civic Hall and markets when rostered.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in maintenance, repairs, or facility management.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures.
- Experience managing contractors and ensuring value for money.

Pay: £34,314.00-£37,938.00 per year
