We are looking for experienced Mechanical Fitters / Industrial Fitters to join a major renewable energy project in Royston, UK. The role involves the installation, assembly and maintenance of industrial mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities
- Installation and assembly of industrial mechanical equipment
- Positioning and fitting of machinery and mechanical components
- Installation and maintenance of pumps, motors, gearboxes, conveyors and fans
- Inspection, repair and replacement of mechanical components
- Working from technical drawings and equipment specifications
- Following site safety and quality requirements
Requirements
- Experience as a Mechanical Fitter or Industrial Fitter
- Industrial installation or maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical fitting and assembly skills
- Experience with industrial machinery and mechanical systems
- Ability to read technical and mechanical drawings
- Valid UK right to work
- Good understanding of UK site health and safety requirements
Experience on power generation, renewable energy, refinery, petrochemical or other heavy industrial projects is an advantage.
