Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Timber CNC Setter to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machinery to produce high-quality timber components. This role requires a strong understanding of fabrication processes, mechanical systems, The ideal applicant will possess excellent attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and experience working within a manufacturing or warehouse environment. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting where precision and efficiency are paramount.
day shift Monday- Friday 7:30AM-4PM
Responsibilities
- Programme and set up CNC machinery for timber fabrication, ensuring accurate dimensions and specifications are met.
- Operate CNC machines safely and efficiently during production runs.
- Adjust tooling and machine parameters based on material type and project requirements.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment, perform basic troubleshooting, and carry out maintenance as needed.
- Handle materials carefully, ensuring proper loading, unloading, and storage within the workshop or warehouse.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment to uphold safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members on assembly processes and ensure production deadlines are met.
Experience
- Proven experience in fabrication, milling, or CNC machining within a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
- Mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing timber
- Proficiency in using hand tools and understanding basic maths for measurements and calculations.
Pay: £13.00-£15.50 per hour
