Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Waitress/Bar Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service in a lively dining environment, ensuring all patrons have a memorable experience. Previous restaurant or bar experience is advantageous, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued. This role involves serving food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and upselling menu items to maximise guest satisfaction and revenue. All positions are paid, including internships, with opportunities for professional growth within our establishment.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their visit
- Take accurate orders for food and drinks, ensuring timely delivery
- Serve food and beverages in accordance with health and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, counters, and service areas at all times
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen duties as required during quieter periods
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing enquiries promptly and courteously
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or bar work is preferred,a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are key
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is desirable
- Strong organisational skills with good time management abilities
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, professional demeanour
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Kitchen or culinary experience is a plus but not mandatory
- Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
