The Burleigh Arms holds 2 rosettes and currently featured in the Estrella Top 100 Gastro Pubs in the UK.
We operate a 4 day rota, and being part of this team you will learn and develop.
We are seeking an energetic and motivated chef to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will support our culinary operations by assisting with food preparation, kitchen tasks, and ensuring a smooth flow of daily food production.

Duties
- Assist in food preparation and cooking under the supervision of senior kitchen staff
- Support food safety protocols by maintaining cleanliness and proper storage of ingredients
- Help with food presentation and plating to ensure appealing dishes for customers
- Participate in team management activities, including coordinating tasks during busy service periods
- Supervise and guide junior team members or trainees when necessary
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment
- Support hospitality efforts by serving guests and ensuring excellent customer service standards
Requirements
- Previous experience in food production, restaurant work, or hospitality preferred
- Basic knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen hygiene practices
- Strong interest in culinary arts, cooking, and food preparation techniques
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to supervise and manage team members effectively
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
