We're looking for a passionate and qualified Early Years Practitioner (Level 2 or above) to join our friendly and dedicated team. Whether you're an experienced practitioner or ready to take the next step in your career, we'd love to hear from you.
What you'll be doing
As an Early Years Practitioner, you'll play a vital role in providing outstanding care and education, helping every child develop the confidence, independence and curiosity they need to thrive.
You'll:
- Plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences that inspire children and support their individual stages of development.
- Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment where every child feels valued, supported and encouraged to explore.
- Observe, assess and celebrate children's progress, using your knowledge of the EYFS to plan meaningful next steps in their learning.
- Foster strong, positive relationships with children, parents and carers, working in partnership to support every child's development.
- Support children's emotional wellbeing, communication, confidence and independence through responsive, child-centred practice.
- Encourage learning through both indoor and outdoor experiences, making the most of our fantastic nursery environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of care, learning and professionalism across the nursery.
- Ensure safeguarding, health and safety and wellbeing remain at the heart of everything you do.
- Contribute ideas and enthusiasm to help continually develop and enhance the experiences we provide for children and families.
We're looking for someone who has:
- A DfE-approved Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above).
- Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
- Good knowledge of the EYFS, child development and safeguarding.
- A caring, enthusiastic and positive approach.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A genuine passion for providing outstanding early years education and care.
