Overview
Baylis Merthyr Tydfil is looking for a skilled and motivated Vehicle Technician to join our aftersales team. Working with Vauxhall vehicles, you'll carry out servicing, repairs, maintenance and diagnostics while delivering high standards of workmanship and customer care.

The Role
As a Vehicle Technician, you will:
- Diagnose, service and repair customer vehicles.
- Carry out routine maintenance and vehicle health checks.
- Complete customer video health checks.
- Identify and advise on any additional work required.
- Ensure all work is completed to manufacturer and company standards.
- Keep up to date with the latest vehicle technology through ongoing training.
- Maintain a safe, organised and productive working environment.
About You
You will:
- Hold a minimum Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair qualification.
- Have a minimum of 3 years' experience working as a Vehicle Technician in a workshop environment.
- Hold a full UK Driving Licence.
- Have strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Be organised, reliable and detail-focused.
- Enjoy working as part of a team.
- Take pride in delivering excellent customer service.
MOT Tester qualification is preferred but not essential.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: 8:30am – 5:00pm
