Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Dental Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position good communication skills, a strong organisational ability, and proficiency in IT systems relevant to dental practice.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Prepare and maintain the treatment room, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready for use.
- Provide exceptional patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update information as required.
- Sterilise instruments and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage appointment schedules and assist with administrative tasks as needed.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a high standard of care is maintained.
Qualifications
- communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in IT systems used within dental practices.
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent patient care with a compassionate approach.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Qualified or experience in a dental nursing is preferred.
