Night care Assistant to work 2 nights a week 22.00pm - 8.00am. The applicant must hold NVQ 2 in Health & Social Care or working towards this for the night care position.

- NVQ/H&SC Level 2 or working towards this

Duties
- Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and mobility during night hours
- Monitor residents’ health and well-being, responding promptly to any concerns or emergencies
- Maintain accurate care plans and document any changes or observations throughout your shift
- Communicate effectively with team members, residents, and their families to provide updates and reassurance
- Conduct regular safety checks of the premises, including fire safety protocols and security measures
- Assist with light domestic duties to keep the environment clean, safe, and welcoming
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided
- Strong communication skills in English to interact clearly with residents, colleagues, and families
- Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining high standards of care
- Basic IT skills for updating care records and documentation
- Valid driving license is advantageous for supporting residents’ transportation needs or errands
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve residents’ quality of life
- Ability to follow detailed care plans and adhere to health and safety regulations
