Our client, a reputable and established main dealership in Derby, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their busy workshop team. Duties:
- Delivering servicing, repairs, diagnostics, and vehicle health checks to manufacturer standards
- Identifying and rectifying vehicle faults efficiently
- Conducting visual vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and safety
- Completing work within set timeframes while maintaining high quality
- Ensuring customer satisfaction through professional service delivery
- Maintaining accurate documentation and reporting on vehicle repairs and services
- Collaborating effectively within a team of skilled technicians
Requirements:
- Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- Minimum of 3 years' practical workshop experience
- Previous main dealer experience is highly advantageous
- MOT licence would be desirable but is not essential
- Strong mechanical skills with basic diagnostic proficiency
- Pride in workmanship and attention to detail
- Excellent team player with a positive approach
- Full UK driving licence with no more than six penalty points
