Job Purpose
To identify, assess and support young carers (5–17) so they can access the same opportunities as their peers, thrive, and reduce the negative impact of caring on education, health and wellbeing. The post holder will complete Young Carer Needs Assessments, develop personalised support plans, and deliver one‑to‑one and group interventions in line with the Children and Families Act 2014 (young carers’ right to assessment), and whole‑family approaches under the Care Act 2014.
