Fat Cat International Ltd
We are a small, friendly distributor and exporter with a head office in North London, supplying our large catalogue of product to retailers and other companies around the world, with orders shipping daily. Due to upcoming maternity leave, we are looking for an efficient and reliable sales administrator to process UK and Export Sales during that time. This is an important role in our operations, as you will be ensuring that orders for customers around the world are shipped with correct documents, in the soonest possible turnaround time. You will also be the main point of contact for customers and shippers, and will need to present the best possible image of the company.
Job Description
Duties include:
- Managing the end-to-end customer order process including the below.
- Daily sales invoicing of all orders using Sage 200
- Booking couriers / organising shipping of goods worldwide on a daily basis
- Producing shipping documents that meet all customs requirements
- Emailing invoices and other documents to the relevant parties
- Ensuring shipping deadlines are reached on a daily basis
- Liaising with customers, shippers and colleagues (including dealing with queries)
- Any other duties as may be reasonably requested within the role.
Place of work
Initial training will be in person at the London office. After that, further training and work will be hybrid if the conditions are suitable at your location. IT and telephone equipment will be provided, but a quiet work atmosphere and good stable broadband service with hard wired router connection will be required in order to work from home.
Person Specification
The following are essential for this role:-
- Available to start work no later than 24th August 2026
- Degree level qualification and proficient Excel skills
- Excellent tech skills in general, and aptitude to learn new applications
- Numerate, able to input data accurately, with great attention to detail
- Logical and precise
- Highly organised, with excellent time management and ability to work to deadlines
- Calm and confident under pressure
- Ability to take responsibility and initiative
- Confident communicator, with a high standard of written and spoken English and a pleasant telephone manner
- Reliable, friendly, co-operative, and willing to address all admin tasks as and when necessary
- Proven commercial administration experience in the last 12 months (note: recent graduates with relevant work experience during their course will also be considered).
- Must be eligible to work in the UK, and be able to commute to North West London as and when required for office days.
The following skills and attributes are highly desirable for this role:-
- Experience in the use of Sage 200 accounting software (training will be given, but prior experience will be an advantage)
- Experience in shipping worldwide orders and/or preparing customs information
Checkable references and proof of degree-level qualification will be required in the event that you are shortlisted for the position.
Salary & Hours
- Hours: Mon-Fri 09.30 - 18.00
- Salary: £30,000 p.a. (pro-rata)
