The Role We are seeking a reliable, hardworking Kitchen/Warehouse Porter to support our operations team behind the scenes. In this role, you will be responsible for the careful handling, washing, and maintenance of our luxury tableware and event inventory, ensuring everything is pristine and ready for high-end clientele.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating commercial dishwashing equipment and thoroughly hand-washing delicate, high-end tableware and glassware.
- Inspecting, sorting, and carefully packing inventory to maintain our strict quality standards.
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment in the wash and storage areas.
- Assisting the operations and warehouse team with loading, unloading, and organising event inventory as needed.
- Adhering strictly to health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
What We Are Looking For
- Previous experience as a kitchen porter, warehouse operative, or in a similar fast-paced environment is preferred, though full training on our specific handling procedures will be provided.
- A meticulous eye for detail and a high standard of cleanliness.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work effectively as part of a close-knit team.
- Physical stamina, with the ability to lift crates and stand for extended periods.
- A positive, proactive attitude and a willingness to pitch in wherever needed during busy periods.
