Residential Conveyancer CBG Law are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join the firm’s Real Estate team. Although real estate is our speciality, we offer a full range of complementary legal services including Dispute Resolution, leasehold enfranchisement, company and commercial, private wealth and employment. We have considerable experience in the hospitality and leisure sector acting for both landlords and tenants when taking premises in large scale developments and on the high street.
The department:
Our Real Estate Team provides legal advice across all manner of matters in relation to residential real estate. With years of experience, we are able to provide the advice that assists our clients with their general needs relating to real estate.
The role:
You will work alongside experienced colleagues, managing your own files with appropriate supervision while building the confidence and expertise to handle a full residential conveyancing caseload.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with managing a residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion.
- Draft legal documents and prepare contract packs.
- Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, solicitors, and other third parties.
- Carry out property searches and review search results.
- Raise and respond to enquiries.
- Prepare completion statements and assist with exchange and completion.
- Ensure files are maintained accurately and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide exceptional client care and keep clients updated throughout their transaction.
- Support senior fee earners with more complex matters as required.
Required experience, skills and attributes:
You will have:
- A degree or professional qualification;
- Excellent IT literacy, including familiarity with Microsoft Office;
- Excellent written English;
- Attention to detail;
- Excellent organisational skills with an ability to work and prioritise systematically and methodically managing multiple tasks to successfully meet conflicting deadlines;
- Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small dedicated team;
- Enthusiastic and proactive attitude to work;
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure;
- An interest in marketing and business development.
