We are seeking a kind, reliable, and compassionate individual with a calm nature and a smart professional presentation, to support a friendly, cheerful and engaging gentleman in his late 30s with a young at heart outlook.
He has a physical disability that affects bone strength and uses a specialist wheelchair and adapted vehicle to maintain his independence and everyday lifestyle.

The service user lives with his mother and takes pride in maintaining a clean, tidy home, adapted vehicle and smart personal presentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving an adapted (automatic) vehicle
- Providing personal care, including toileting, bathing, and dressing
- Supporting daily routines, activities and outings
- Accompanying to appointments
- Light household tasks and general errands
Activities May Include
- Scenic drives, and local seaside trips
- Café visits, garden centres, and local attractions
- Park walks, and community activities
- Seasonal events, shows, and entertainment
Driving Requirements
- Full UK clean driving licence is required
- Confidence behind the wheel and a genuine passion for driving
- Full insurance is provided to drive the adapted vehicle
Choose a Fixed Schedule That Works for You
Schedule 1 - 15 hours per week
- Wednesdays: 09:00 - 15:00 (every week, 6 hours)
- Fridays: 09:00 - 15:00 (every week, 6 hours)
- Sundays: 14:00 - 20:00 (alternate weeks, 6 hours)
Schedule 2 - 18 hours per week
- Wednesdays: 09:00 - 15:30 (every week, 6.5 hours)
- Fridays: 09:00 - 15:30 (every week, 6.5 hours)
- Sundays: 15:00 - 20:00 (every week, 5 hours)
We are open to flexible adjustments where possible, provided the service user’s needs are met.

Previous care experience is welcome but not essential, as full training will be provided. A positive attitude, dependability, and willingness to learn are essential.
All employment is subject to satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS check and a clean UK driving licence.
Location Requirement
Applicants should ideally live within approximately 12 miles of Accrington.
Flexible or immediate start available for the successful candidate.
