Facilities Supervisor
SITE: The O2 Belfast – part of the Odyssey Trust Company
LOCATION: Queens Quay, Belfast, BT3 9QQ
RESPONSIBLE TO: Site Wide Senior Facilities Manager
TERMS: 40 hours per week
DATE: July 2026
OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
To support the Odyssey Trust (OTC) Facilities & Estates Management team in the day-to-day planning and delivery of Facilities Management tasks. Reporting directly to the Senior Facilities Manager, the post holder will help ensure statutory compliance and the consistent application of best practice across all OTC policies and procedures. The role also includes supervision of the in-house Facilities team and external contractors.
Minimum Essential Criteria
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience within the Facilities Management industry, with at least 3 years within a supervisory role.
- Proven ability to supervise a team.
- Good working knowledge of Health & Safety practices.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues, contractors & customers.
- Ability to work on your own initiative and to work accurately under pressure.
- Competent user of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in using CAFM and CMMS software.
Desirable Criteria
- IOSH or NEBOSH qualification.
- BIFM qualification or similar.
- Formal trade qualification within the Facilities Management industry (Mechanical / Electrical / Plumbing / Building)
