ICS (UK) Ltd provides delivery and logistics solutions to businesses across the UK. We are looking for a motivated Mandarin-speaking Regional Sales Representative to help grow our customer base within the Chinese restaurant, fast-food, takeaway and catering sectors.
The Role
As a Regional Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating new business and promoting ICS (UK) Ltd's delivery services to Chinese restaurants, fast-food outlets, takeaways and catering businesses.
You will build relationships with restaurant owners and managers, understand their delivery needs and introduce them to our reliable and competitive delivery solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and approach potential restaurant and catering customers.
- Develop new business opportunities within your assigned region.
- Visit Chinese restaurants, fast-food outlets, takeaways and catering businesses.
- Promote ICS (UK) Ltd delivery services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with restaurant owners and managers.
- Generate leads, arrange meetings and convert prospects into customers.
- Negotiate and close new business accounts.
- Maintain relationships with existing customers.
- Achieve agreed sales targets and KPIs.
- Keep accurate records of customer visits, leads and sales activity.
- Identify new opportunities within the local Chinese restaurant and catering market.
Essential Requirements
- Fluent Mandarin Chinese and English – essential.
- Previous sales, business development, retail, hospitality or customer-facing experience.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Confident approaching new customers and speaking with business owners.
- Strong negotiation and sales skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive and target-driven.
- Able to work independently and manage a regional territory.
- Willing to travel within the assigned area.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred.
Desirable Experience
Experience in fast-food restaurants, Chinese restaurants, takeaways, catering, hospitality, food delivery, courier services or logistics would be an advantage.
Knowledge of the UK Chinese restaurant and catering market, or existing contacts within the sector, would be highly beneficial.
