We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant / Domestic BANK cover at our Care Home in Upton, Wirral.
We are a Good CQC registered Home providing care for up to 61 residents.

About You;
Kitchen Assistant Role
- Able to demonstrate an ability to manage pressure, prioritise tasks and communicate effectively at all levels.
- Acting as the link between the main kitchen and our residents
- Assisting the chefs to plate meals, prepare food trolleys and ensure all preparation areas are kept clean and tidy
- Genuine interest in working in a care home environment.
- Previous experience working in a Care Home environment is desirable but not essential.
- A committed and organised approach.
- A confident communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexible to work shifts.
- Serving nutritious, healthy meals that our residents will love.
Domestic Assistant Role
JOB CONTENT / PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Organising and planning work schedules.
2. Cleaning of all allocated clients rooms.
3. Cleaning of all toilets, bathrooms and ensuites.
4. Correct use and knowledge of cleaning products, ensuring the safe handling of all
chemicals and cleaning materials. (COSHH)
5. Ensure hazard free use of equipment and environment. (Health & Safety)
6. Prompt reporting to line manager regarding faulty equipment.
7. Ensuring the required standards of hygiene and cleanliness are achieved - relating to equipment, personnel and general environment.
8. Ensuring a regular weekly wash down of tiles and any exposed pipes.
9. Ensuring the correct and economical use of all provisions, materials and equipment.
10. Ensuring the observation of safety regulations
11. Maintenance of cleaning schedules and reports.
