Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, self-motivated QA Automation Engineer with excellent software automation scripting skills using Cucumber. Selenium with Java You should be able to demonstrate your abilities in creating and managing automation framework, generating new and regression automation test scripts. You will work in an Agile, collaborative environment where you’ll ensure robust testing during feature development utilising a range of technologies
Location:
At our office in Ilford (London) and also required to travel and work at client project sites anywhere in the UK.

Education Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering (Required).
- Certifications in Testing and Automation is an advantage.
Key Skills:
- Strong WinApp Driver, Appium2 Driver, Web Driver, SoapUI Cucumber experience
- Working experience on different Operating Systems Linux, Ubuntu, Windows, etc.
- Experience in working with Waterfall, V-model, SDLC, Agile/Srum, etc.
- A hand on expertise using test case management tools such as JIRA, Bugzila, Zephyre,
- Knowledge of Javascript, HTML, XML are highly desirable but not required.
- Proficiency using various frameworks BDD, POM, Hybrid.

Main Responsibilities
As a Test Automation Engineer your key responsibilities are as follows:
- Develop and execute automated test cases
- To develop modular automation framework that divides automation test functions into logical, manageable segments or modules. These modules should be isolated to create independent tests that can be recombined to follow a test plan.
- Writing a test strategy prior to execution in software integration and release cycle for testing.
- Analyse and understand project requirements, devise test strategies, develop test scenarios, elaborate scenarios into detailed manual test cases and automating the scripts.
- To translate functional requirements into test scripts and execute to a level agreed with the test manager. as required.
- Ensuring these tests function and implementation are robust.
- Deploying these test scripts for integration into test automation framework for deployment on premises and cloud-hosted infrastructure.
- Continuous testing and reporting, and rectifying the issues for automated execution.
- Regression testing within the defined automation framework.
- Assist the development / engineering teams with estimating, prioritising and planning.
- Act as a champion of quality within the team, highlighting risks and needs when implementing products and services.
- Design and implement comprehensive test plans.
- Engage in both manual and automated testing, ensuring all features perform to the highest standard.
- Provide mentorship to junior testing staff and contribute to team training and development initiatives.
- Identify potential issues and lead troubleshooting efforts.
- Keep updated with industry standards and best practices, introducing them into our processes.
- Report on the status, quality, and potential risks associated with the system in development.

- A minimum of two years experience is highly desirable
- Proven experience in the above skills is preferred
Salary: £ 52,000.00 per annum.
