Overview
We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented SCHOOL Cleaners to join our team for primary school cleaning. The ideal candidates will have experience in school cleaning and a strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards. This role is essential in ensuring that the facilities are welcoming, safe, and well-maintained for pupils, staff and visitors.

Morning & Afternoon shifts
Monday to Friday (Term-time only)

Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including offices, classrooms, restrooms, and communal spaces.
- Use appropriate cleaning products and equipment to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
- Empty bins, dispose of waste properly, and ensure recycling protocols are followed.
- Dust surfaces, clean windows, and maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, or vacuuming as required.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the management team promptly.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.
- Maintain an organised stock of cleaning supplies and notify management when replenishment is needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in school cleaning is essential
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new techniques or methods in cleaning practices.
- Reliable transportation to get to the workplace
An ENHANCED DBS certificate is preferred
