Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Logistics & Field Operations Coordinator to oversee and optimise supply chain activities across multiple locations, and based in Woking, Surrey. This role involves managing transportation, warehousing, and distribution processes to ensure seamless operations. Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee logistics to optimise delivery schedules and client support.
- Manage operations including shipping, receiving, picking, packing, and materials handling to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Utilise our internal logistics system to monitor inventory levels and streamline order fulfilment processes.
- Implement process improvements aimed at enhancing operational workflows, reducing costs, and increasing productivity.
- Conduct analysis to identify trends, forecast demands, and support strategic decision-making.
- Make recommendations to improve the process and system.
- Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to coordinate logistics activities across multiple sites.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards during materials handling operations.
- Manage category procurement strategies to optimise stock levels and minimise waste.
- Support field operations by providing logistical guidance for on-site activities and ensuring timely delivery of materials.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory movements, and operational metrics for reporting purposes.
- You will sometimes travel to clients site across UK, including Whales and Scotland, to participate in solution setup and on site training.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in logistics coordination or supply chain management.
- Strong experience of using computers and IT systems to handle logistics processes.
- Familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures, materials handling equipment including picking & packing processes.
- Data analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets for operational improvements.
- Demonstrated capability in process optimisation and category management within logistics or supply chain contexts.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams, clients and partners effectively.
