Widemouth Bay Caravan Park is seeking a friendly and professional receptionist to join our team for the remainder of the 2026 season.
As the first point of contact for our guests, you will be the welcoming face of the park. You should be presentable, approachable, and confident in delivering excellent customer service to ensure every guest receives a great first impression.
Key Responsibilities:
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Welcoming guests and checking them into their accommodation
- Acting as a first point of contact for guests, owners, contractors, and visitors
- Communicating efficiently with all departments
- Using internal systems accurately and effectively
- Assisting guests with questions and queries throughout their stay
- Carrying out administrative tasks such as preparing welcome packs, loading jobs onto the system, and handling phone calls and email enquiries
- Serving drinks and maintaining the bar area
Skills and Experience:
- Strong customer service skills with a positive, can-do attitude
- Ability to remain calm and professional during busy check-in days
- Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience using ParcVu would be a strong advantage, though full training will be provided
- Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial but not essential
This is a seasonal position running from August to October, with a start date to be confirmed at interview. The role offers a minimum of 18 hours per week, worked on a rota basis including weekends, with opportunities to pick up additional hours in other departments. Applicants must be available to work throughout all school holidays, and the right candidate may have the opportunity to return in future seasons.
The hourly rate is £12.80. This is paid weekly on a Friday.
Daytime and evening availability is essential.
Own transport or a reliable means of travel is required due to start/finish times and limited bus services.
