Job Type: Fulltime 40 hours per week (Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 5.00pm)

Job Overview
The purpose of this role is to support the Quality function by inspecting incoming materials, parts and sub-assemblies, ensuring required documentation is available, and assisting Engineering Assembly activities to support production and operational requirements.
The role covers Goods In inspection activities at MFC International facilities and supporting Engineering Assembly duties where required.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Goods In
- Inspect Material, Parts, Sub-assemblies, to the latest drawings and visual quality standards.
- Book into the Repairs log, items being returned for repair.
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure correct documentation is received. C of Cs, delivery notes, test results etc.
- Receive items into stock through Lakeview.
- Conduct material tests for compliance to specifications.
- Raise NCR’s for non-conforming supplied product.
- Close NCR’s by reviewing preventive action from the supplier.
Engineering Assembly
- In house production of high and low pressures hoses, regulators, pumps and controllers.
- In house production of shelter shower hoses.
- Assisting the production staff with heavy lifting.
- Mixing of the solution chemicals.
- Basic machinery maintenance/servicing.
- Assisting production with rigging of finished products.
- Assisting despatch with packing of large products.
Skills and Experience
- Experience as a quality inspector in a manufacturing environment, preferably time served or equivalent.
- Be able to demonstrate competence in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Experience using manual measuring equipment - shadowgraphs, Verniers, Micrometres, thread gauge.
- Computer literate - experience using Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Experience of ISO9001 quality system is desirable
