The post of Welfare Rights Officer is a varied and challenging role working predominantly with city residents on improving their financial resilience This post will offer face to face and telephone advice on all aspects of Social Security Law. You will also offer representation at benefit appeal tribunals. This post is funded by the Crisis Resilience Fund to provide proactive financial resilience support.
Our ideal candidate would be someone who wants to help vulnerable people. Experience of giving welfare rights advice is essential, as is experience of maintaining case management systems.
