Job Description: Over Labelling Production Team Member
Sessions UK is seeking a detail-oriented Over Labelling Machine Operator to join our York team, responsible for the accurate and timely application of labels onto our clients packaging.
Over labelling is the process where a label is applied over an existing label to cover up or add additional information.
Key Responsibilities
Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of production orders, labelling processes, and inventory levels.
Assist with filing, document management, and other essential administrative functions.
Coordination & Communication:
Liaise with production, quality control
Complete the application of labels on products to ensure adherence to exact placement, size, and SKU specifications.
Verify that label placement and data strings meet Sessions UK’s quality and compliance standards.
Material & Inventory Management:
Prepare and organize label materials ahead of production runs.
Monitor stock levels of label supplies and coordinate orders to prevent production delays.
Perform regular quality checks on labelled products.
Identify and address any discrepancies or defects promptly.
Proven experience in an administrative or office assistant role; previous exposure to labelling or production environments is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Additional Requirements:
A proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Basic understanding of or willingness to learn labelling and over labelling processes.
Flexibility to handle a mix of desk-based and production floor responsibilities.
job involves working with label software and databases. Training will be provided.
Schedule:
Part time + OT where required
0800-1200 Monday- Thursday
No weekends
