Solvit Recruitment are currently looking for a HGV Class 2 Drivers.

You will be working 4 out of 5 days per week, which will be a planned in advance.
This is an on-going role through Solvit Recruitment.
Working 4 days per week, 37 hours per week.
You will have an informal interview and driving assessment.
You will have a planned rota for your shifts.
Start times from 07:00 with the latest finish time of 16:45.
We are working with a local authority who are looking for an HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver; you will drive a refuse collection vehicle supplied by the Authority to carry out designated duties. These duties are to ensure that all waste streams (including Trade Waste) are collected.
We will require an up to date CV for this position.
Pay rate is £14.82 per hour or Rolled up £16.61.
PPE supplied on site, but you will need your own safety boots.

Requirements.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
- Understand Health & Safety.
· Comply with all Site Safety Instructions relating to all landfill sites, waste transfer stations and recycling merchant sites.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication oral and written.
- Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate records of deliveries.
- Minimum 1 years’ experience driving Class 2.
- No DR, DD, TT, IN and not served any bans in the last 5 years.
- Work references will be required.
