Responsibilities
- Serve drinks and beverages efficiently and courteously to customers at the bar
- Take orders accurately and handle cash or card payments with precision
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service throughout shifts
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons and answering queries
- Monitor customer behaviour to promote responsible drinking and ensure safety
- Assist with setting up and clearing tables when required during busy periods
- Follow all health and safety regulations diligently
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or food service is essential ; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous
- Strong serving skills with a friendly and professional manner
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Effective time management to prioritise tasks during busy periods
- Ability to work well within a team and adapt quickly to changing demands
- A personable attitude with excellent communication skills
