Walton Street Cycles & Bainton Bikes has expanded and continues to grow; we are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our busy team.
The role offered is a part time business administrator. It will be hybrid working from our office in Kidlington, from home and there may be times when meeting at our shop or customer locations is required.
We are looking for someone who is very organised and able to work as part of a team and individually.
Overall, we want someone friendly and hardworking who has a genuine passion for cycling. We are a sociable bunch and have fun while we work.

Walton Street Cycles is Oxfordshire’s oldest bicycle shop; we are proud of our heritage and always strive to provide our customers with a great experience.
Bainton Bikes boast the largest, most varied fleet of rental bikes in Southern England and specialise in hire, tours and holidays for all ages.
We run a very busy shop, rental fleet, tours and workshop taking pride in our repairs, we believe in honest hard work and providing ongoing training and development skills for all members of staff – we want our team to be the best and invest in achieving this.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners
- Maintain and update systems with accurate data
- Produce management reports for internal and external partners
- Manage company vehicles
- Manage accommodation bookings and planning for cycling holidays
- Support and track financial and budget management
- Assist with workforce planning, training and system access
- Support information and office management
Skills & experience
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with high attention to detail
- Confident in using MS Office, Google docs including Excel/Google Sheets and data management tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritise in a busy environment
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Good understanding of budgeting, forecasting and expense tracking
- Experience in customer service
- Lone working
- Interest in cycling is a bonus!
