We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Dental Nurse or Trainee Dental Nurse to join our dental practice team. Responsibilities
- Support dentists and dental hygienists during various dental procedures, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and manage infection control protocols to uphold the highest standards of hygiene.
- Provide excellent patient care by offering reassurance, explaining procedures, and addressing patient concerns with professionalism.
- Maintain accurate patient records using digital IT systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling, patient correspondence, and stock management.
- Educate patients on oral health practices and post-treatment care instructions to promote overall dental health.
- Foster effective communication within the team to ensure seamless workflow and exceptional patient experiences.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting or a genuine interest in pursuing a career in dental nursing is desirable; training opportunities are available for Trainee Dental Nurses.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to clearly explain procedures and instructions to patients.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a busy environment.
- Basic IT literacy for managing digital records and scheduling systems.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient care, professionalism, and teamwork.
- Knowledge of infection control procedures and health & safety regulations is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided.
