ANZUK Education is partnering with an outstanding OFSTED-rated secondary school in South Birmingham to recruit confident and adaptable Cover Supervisors for short-term and long-term supply opportunities. This is an excellent role for individuals seeking flexible work within a school environment while gaining valuable classroom experience in a supportive setting.
Placements can arise at short notice to cover staff absences, so flexibility and the ability to hit the ground running are essential.
About the Role
- Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects and year groups
- Supervise classes and ensure pupils remain on task throughout lessons
- Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment
- Support continuity of learning during teacher absence
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Follow safeguarding and school procedures at all times
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have previous experience working with children or young people in an educational setting
- Be confident managing a classroom independently
- Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills
- Be adaptable, reliable, and professional
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be available to take on work at short notice
