Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable Self Employed Multi Drop Delivery Driver to join our team. we are preferably looking for courier drivers with their own LWB van with all relevant insurances. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering parcels efficiently and professionally across designated routes. This role offers flexible working hours and the opportunity to operate independently while maintaining high standards of customer service. A valid driver licence and previous delivery experience are essential for this position. The ideal applicant will possess excellent communication skills, physical stamina for heavy lifting, and experience in commercial driving.
Responsibilities
- Collect parcels and goods from specified locations and deliver them to customers efficiently and accurately.
- Plan delivery routes to optimise time and fuel efficiency.
- Handle packages with care, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding delivery times or any unforeseen delays.
- Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle, adhering to safety regulations at all times.
- Keep accurate records of deliveries completed, including signatures or proof of delivery where required.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant traffic laws and company policies during deliveries.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar logistics role is preferred.
- Valid uk driver’s licence .
- Experience in commercial driving or warehouse operations is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and handle physical tasks associated with parcel handling.
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Organised with excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently without supervision.
- Reliable vehicle suitable for transporting goods, subject to verification during the application process.
Pay: £100.00-£200.00 per day
