Lead in Administration of SEND Statutory Processes
Location: Uxbridge, UB8
Salary: Up to £39,293 actual salary, dependent on experience
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week, term time
We are recruiting for a Lead in Administration of SEND Statutory Processes to join a specialist education setting in Uxbridge.
This is a key operational role supporting the effective coordination of SEND statutory processes, including EHCPs, Annual Reviews, admissions, attendance, family engagement and multi-agency communication.
The successful candidate will have strong administrative, organisational and communication skills, with experience working within SEND, education, Local Authority, specialist provision or a similar statutory/process-led environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and coordinating SEND statutory administration processes
- Managing EHCP Annual Reviews, paperwork, deadlines and documentation
- Liaising with Local Authorities, parents, carers, schools and external professionals
- Supporting admissions, transitions and pupil records
- Coordinating meetings, reports, actions and follow-up communication
- Maintaining accurate SEND records and ensuring compliance with statutory expectations
- Supporting effective communication between families, professionals and internal teams
- Helping to ensure processes are completed accurately and within required timescales
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience with EHCPs, Annual Reviews or SEND statutory processes
- Strong school, SEND provision or Local Authority administrative experience
- Excellent attention to detail and confidence managing sensitive information
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience liaising with families, professionals and external agencies
- The ability to manage deadlines, prioritise workload and work under pressure
- Confidence using school systems, databases or case management systems
- A professional, organised and proactive approach
Experience as a SEND Administrator, EHCP Coordinator, Annual Review Coordinator, SEND Officer, SEN Caseworker, Inclusion Administrator, Learning Support Administrator or similar would be highly relevant.
