Join the Structures Group Team – Yard Operative / Driver
Based in Leigh, Greater Manchester, working across the UK
Structures Group is a specialist construction and regeneration contractor working on heritage restoration, structural alterations, concrete repairs and façade preservation projects across the UK.
We're looking for a reliable and hardworking Yard Operative / Driver to join our growing team and help keep our operations running smoothly.
The Role
This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same. You'll be responsible for maintaining our yard, supporting our site teams and delivering materials, plant and equipment to projects across the region.
Responsibilities include:
Loading, unloading and checking deliveries
Delivering materials, tools and equipment to site
Collecting materials from suppliers
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe yard
Carrying out vehicle and equipment checks
Assisting with stock control and inventory
Preparing materials and equipment for upcoming projects
Supporting the wider operations team as required
What we're looking for:
Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
Forklift licence (preferred, but not essential)
Previous experience in a similar yard, stores or driving role
Good organisational skills
Ability to work on your own initiative
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Physically fit and happy working outdoors
A team player who takes pride in their work
