An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Finance Manager to join a well-established charity in Greater Manchester, working part-time (14–19 hours per week) on a permanent basis. This is a hands-on role that lets you use your financial expertise to make a genuine difference for an organisation supporting autistic people, children, young people and families.

The Job
As Finance Manager, you will be a key member of the Senior Management Team, reporting to the CEO and Board. You will take responsibility for the effective financial management and control of the charity, providing accurate and timely information to support decision-making and long-term sustainability.
Your responsibilities will include management accounts, budgeting and forecasting, financial reporting, cash flow and scenario modelling, payroll, banking, Gift Aid, funding costings and financial compliance. You will work closely with the CEO, Trustees, Finance Officer, Fundraising Team and external accountants, providing sound financial advice and ensuring compliance with relevant Charity Commission, HMRC and statutory requirements.
We are looking for a qualified accountant, such as ACA or ACCA, with strong technical financial skills and experience in budgeting and forecasting, performance monitoring, and staff supervision. Charity, social care or SME experience would be particularly valuable.
