Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Day Sits Carer to provide high-quality care and support during the day . The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of client in a there own home . This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the client life by delivering personalised care with professionalism and empathy. Applicants should possess strong communication skills, IT proficiency, and the ability to work independently during day.
Duties
- Monitor client throughout the day to ensure their safety and well-being
- Assist with personal care tasks such as toileting, dressing, and mobility support as required
- Follow individualised care plans to deliver tailored support and assistance
- Respond promptly to any emergencies or urgent needs during the day
- Keep accurate records of care provided and any incidents that occur during your shift
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for client
- Communicate effectively with team members, family members, and healthcare professionals as needed
- Drive or organise transportation if required for medical appointments or emergencies
Experience
- Prior experience working in a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided
- Knowledge of care plans and procedures relevant to elderly or vulnerable individuals
- Basic IT skills for documentation and communication purposes
- Good command of English, both written and spoken, to ensure clear communication
- Valid driving licence is advantageous for transportation duties but not mandatory
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide reassurance and support during the day.
Pay: £12.71-£14.00 per hour
