Shop Fitter – Nottingham.
We are looking for an experienced Shop Fitter to join our new team based in Nottingham. This is a great opportunity to become part of a growing business working on a variety of retail fit-out projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Assemble and fit shop components to a high standard
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Carry out quality checks to ensure all work meets company standards
- Work closely with team members to resolve issues and improve processes
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
- Report progress and any issues to supervisors promptly
Requirements
- Previous experience in shop fitting or a similar fitting/assembly role
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Good knowledge of tools, equipment, and fitting techniques
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Understanding of health and safety procedures
