Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and outdoor activities to ensure safety at all times
- Foster a warm, welcoming environment that encourages curiosity and independence among children
- Maintain clear communication with parents and guardians regarding children’s progress and daily routines
- Support the implementation of early childhood education standards and best practices
- Manage daily classroom routines efficiently, including organizing learning materials and resources
- Lead by example in promoting positive behavior, good manners, and respectful interactions among children
Skills
- Proven experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting
- Strong management and leadership skills to guide young learners effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English to interact confidently with children, parents, and team members
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childcare regulations
- Ability to create engaging activities that stimulate learning and development
- Valid driving license is preferred for transporting children or attending off-site activities
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine passion for nurturing young minds
