Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Foot Health Practitioner / Foot Healthcare Specialist to join our professional team. The successful candidate will provide specialised foot care services, promote foot health awareness, and support clients in maintaining optimal foot hygiene and comfort. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive foot assessments to identify issues and recommend appropriate treatments
- Perform routine foot care procedures, including trimming, filing, and skin or nail treatments
- Educate clients on foot health, hygiene practices, and preventative measures
- Assist clients with customised footwear advice and orthotic fittings as needed
- Maintain accurate client records using IT systems and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
- Promote foot health awareness through educational sessions or workshops
- Ensure all equipment and treatment areas are kept clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic patient care
Experience
- Previous experience in foot health or related healthcare fields is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and empathetically
- Proficiency in IT systems for record keeping and appointment scheduling
- Experience in teaching or patient education is advantageous but not mandatory; a passion for sharing knowledge is essential
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
