At Willowbrook Hospice, our mission is to provide high-quality, compassionate care and specialist palliative support to patients, their families, and the wider community. Our network of charity shops and our online retail operations are vital to generating the funding required to keep our services free of charge. By joining our retail team, your daily logistical work directly impacts and supports local patient care.
We are seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to manage the movement of stock, furniture, and financial assets across our retail network. Operating from our central hub, you will ensure our shops remain well-stocked, safe, and financially integrated with our central offices, while acting as a professional ambassador for the hospice.
Your Key Responsibilities

Logistics & Stock Control: Manage stock distributions, transfers, and furniture collections across our retail shops and central warehouse.

Manual Handling: Safely lift, load, and move stock, heavy furniture donations, and retail materials.

Waste Management: Clear waste and unsellable items from stores to keep operations tidy.

Financial Handling: Securely collect and drop off daily shop banking to our designated retail offices.

Vehicle Compliance: Conduct daily vehicle safety checks, routine maintenance reports, and complete accurate logistics paperwork.

Health & Safety: Maintain safe, professional workspaces while fully complying with standard health and safety regulations.
About You

Licence & Experience: Valid UK driving licence with a clean record and experience in a delivery or logistics role.

Operational Skills: Practical knowledge of safe manual handling techniques for lifting and moving retail furniture.

Time Management: Strong skills to plan daily routes effectively and work independently on the road.

Administration: Ability to accurately complete basic paper or digital logs, checklists, and timesheets.

Communication: Friendly and respectful manner when interacting with shop staff, volunteers, and the public.
