Beyond Support Ltd is seeking compassionate, dedicated and motivated Support Workers to join our growing Supported Living team in Norwich. As a Specialist Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred support tailored to each individual's unique needs, aspirations and outcomes. You will promote independence, dignity and choice while supporting individuals with daily living skills, community participation, emotional wellbeing and the achievement of personal goals.
The successful candidate will be patient, resilient and committed to delivering outstanding care. You will work collaboratively with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals to ensure individuals receive safe, compassionate and consistent support in line with their personalised support plans and Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) strategies.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred support tailored to individual needs, preferences and goals.
- Build positive, trusting and therapeutic relationships.
- Support emotional wellbeing through reassurance, active listening and positive engagement.
- Promote independence in daily living skills, including cooking, budgeting, shopping and household tasks.
- Support with medication administration following company policies.
- Promote positive nutrition and healthy routines.
- Support individuals to attend healthcare appointments and community activities.
- Encourage participation in hobbies, education and meaningful activities.
- Complete accurate daily records, incident reports and care documentation.
- Implement Positive Behaviour Support strategies and individual risk management plans.
- Maintain professional boundaries while promoting dignity, respect and choice.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, families and multidisciplinary teams.
- Safeguard individuals from abuse, neglect and exploitation.
- Participate in team meetings, supervision and ongoing professional development.
Experience
Essential:
- Minimum of 1 year experience working in Health and Social Care, Supported Living, Residential Care, Mental Health, Learning Disabilities or Autism services.
- Experience delivering person-centred support to adults with varying levels of support needs.
- Experience promoting independence, dignity and choice while supporting individuals to achieve positive outcomes.
- Good understanding of safeguarding procedures and professional boundaries.
- Experience maintaining accurate care records and completing daily documentation.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team while also working independently.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Flexible and reliable, with the ability to work a rota that includes days, nights, weekends and bank holidays.
Desirable:
- Experience supporting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), learning disabilities, mental health needs or behaviours of concern.
- Knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and trauma-informed approaches.
- Experience administering medication (or willingness to undertake training).
- NVQ/QCF Level 2 or Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (desirable but not essential).

Pay: £25,420.00-£37,123.66 per year
