Salon Performance Manager

About the role
We're looking for a hands-on Salon Performance Manager to lead the commercial performance of our treatment team. This is not a desk role. You'll be on the floor daily, coaching our nail and brow specialists to convert more of their existing client into add-on treatments and retail sales, and making sure our commission structure actually drives behaviour rather than sitting unused.
You'll also help us resolve structural issue: our management team currently spends too much time on reception, leaving little time for coaching and accountability. Part of this role is fixing that, so leadership time goes where it's needed.
What you'll do
- Run daily or pre-shift huddles with the treatment team
- Open and close the salon
- Manage our diary
- Manage our rota
- Coach technicians one to one on consultative, advice led upselling, not pushy tactics
- Track and report on average ticket value, retail attach rate, and rebooking rate
- Hold the team accountable to the existing commission structure through regular, structured feedback
- Review and help redesign front of house workflow so management isn't tied to reception
- Work closely with our Operations Manager and Store Manager to embed lasting change, not a short term push
What we're looking for
- Proven experience in commercial or sales performance management within a salon, spa, or wellness business specifically
- A track record you can point to: improved average ticket value, retail attach rate, or rebooking rate at a comparable business
- A floor first style. You want to be present, observing, and coaching, not building strategy decks
- Experience managing or closely supporting other managers
- A consultative, relationship led approach to selling that suits a premium, results driven clientele
